Galapagos
The Galapagos Islands are mere specks in a vast expanse of ocean. Yet zoologists, botanists and geologists from all over the world have found them an endless source of discovery and inspiration. When Charles Darwin visited the islands in 1835 aboard HMS Beagle, his observations were instrumental in the development of his theory of evolution - and every visitor since has been spellbound by the diversity, uniqueness and tameness of the Galapagos wildlife.
